Jill Priestman - Wedding Planner - WPICC
I love everything about weddings. That's it. Just everything. I love being able to take the stress off of a newly-engaged and more-than-slightly overwhelmed couple. I love designing and creating a day that the couple has been picturing and dreaming of. I love making things beautiful - down to the last detail. I love orchestrating the day from behind the scenes and watching the happy couple enjoy each other, their guests, and their celebration. I love meeting couples that are in love, walking them through the planning process until the big day, and then witnessing their vows. And the look on the groom's face at the end of the aisle when he gets his first look at his bride? It gives me chills. Every time. I guess I just love love.
Since starting Borrowed and Blue Weddings in 2007, I have been planning and coordinating weddings, in all shapes and sizes, for the most amazing couples. It never gets old. I am a natural problem solver, spontaneous thinker and a creative - I've been called the Wedding McGivor (for being able to quickly find solutions to get us out of a pickle), the Wedding Jesus (because I 'saved' a couple from their planning and organizing hell!) and the Wedding Ninja (always ready to jump into a situation and help).
I have coordinated weddings all over Ontario and love to work in new venues and spaces. Middle of the woods at the end of a dirt road in Cottage Country? Love it! Casa Loma? I'm there! Let's chat about the vision you have for your wedding - I am excited to help you get there!
I am a certified Wedding Planner and Coordinator with the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. (WPICC) I live in the beautiful town of Uxbridge with Bill, my husband of 38 years.
Leslie Morra - Floral Designer
Leslie is a Senior Floral Designer and has been working with Borrowed and Blue Weddings since its inception in 2007. This shining star is a joy to have in the flower studio - crank up the tunes and it's always a great day among the blooms!
Leslie's creativity is illustrated in her beautifully designed bridal bouquets. Her attention to detail is meticulous and whether it's a wild and free boho bouquet, a greenery garland 50 feet long, or a dainty posy for the flower girl, each stem - flower or foliage - is just where it's supposed to be.
Leslie lives in Toronto, surrounded by her flower gardens, with her husband, Kris and her boys.
Andrea Stewart - Floral Designer
Andrea joined Borrowed and Blue Weddings in 2015 as a Senior Floral Designer and has been an inspiring force ever since. Andrea graduated from Seneca College with a diploma in Floral Design and her technical expertise and design experience are evident in every piece she creates.
Andrea is influenced by nature's beauty and this sensibility is showcased with her colour choices and use of texture, depth and shape in her designs. She is fearless and incredibly creative when it comes to constructing large installation pieces that drape, suspend or cantilever - there is no dilemma too big to conquer!
Andrea, her husband Fil and their beautiful girls, Oliva and Grace, share their home in Uxbridge with Barkley, their Wheaton Terrier.
